Harvest Festival at CCS -- We celebrate Harvest as an alternative to Halloween. Our church provided a fun time for all with a puppet show, worship, games, food and lots of candy! (So much that I'm still trying to give it away!!) Grace and Emily always have a blast. Our youth group is especially fun because we have lots of challenging and fun games for them to take part in. It's usually either daring or gross! Sometime
s I laugh so hard that I nearly fall on the floor -- such as the case with the Turkey Making Contest. If you click on the link on your right, under Calvary Chapel Solano, you can check out some of the fun! You'll really want to see the shot where the kids "bowl" David! The look on his face i
s priceless! So, we head into the holidays and look forward to adding many more posts to our site. We are going to celebrate Thanksgiving with David's family and visit friends while in Southern California. Then, the following weekend, we'll be enjoying a fun (and hopefully a winning) time at the USC/UCLA game. December brings a whole other hoard of activity, which we can easily get caught up in. But our eyes remain on Jesus, with whom we celebrate our relationship daily! We hope this holiday season will bring you closer to the One who created you.
