The one that you stepped right onto the pages and became part of the story, playing with the characters that you loved. And as you got older, that favorite book either got stored away when you had to "clean out all of your old stuff" or shoved to back of your bookcase that was filling up with more mature reads; a sign that you were growing up. But imagine cleaning out your bookcase one day as you prepare to leave for college or to move out on your own and there it is, the favorite book from your childhood. The memories rush back and you are 6 years old again, looking forward to story time before bed. You're right back on those storypages. You remember every word and can recite them by heart.
